Progress Update #1: From Vision to Action

We are excited to share the first official progress update for the Gordon JCC Strategic Plan.

Developed through community feedback, research, and collaboration, the Strategic Plan serves as a roadmap for strengthening our community, enhancing programs and spaces, and ensuring the long-term success of the Gordon JCC. While the plan looks toward the future, meaningful progress is already underway.

Strategic Plan Website Launch

One of our first completed initiatives is the launch of the Gordon JCC Strategic Plan website. This new resource provides community members with an opportunity to explore the plan, learn more about each strategic priority, and follow progress as initiatives move forward.

The website will continue to evolve as new projects begin and milestones are achieved.

Strategic Plan Video Premieres

To help bring the vision of the Strategic Plan to life, we are also excited to premiere our Strategic Plan video on Friday, June 12th.

The video highlights the goals, priorities, and community impact of the plan while showcasing the people, programs, and experiences that make the Gordon JCC such a special place.

Operational Excellence Initiatives Underway

As part of our commitment to Operational Excellence, several important initiatives are already in progress, including:

  • Enhanced communications and marketing efforts

  • Improved employee onboarding processes

  • Expanded staff development opportunities

  • Increased cross-department collaboration

  • Continued investment in digital resources and member communications

These improvements help create a stronger foundation for the organization while enhancing the experience of members, guests, and staff.

The Strategic Plan is designed to be an ongoing journey rather than a single project. In the months ahead, we look forward to sharing additional updates on campus improvements, program enhancements, community engagement efforts, and long-term sustainability initiatives.
